Siemon launches new TechTalk webinar series

Siemon has announced the launch of its new TechTalk webinar series that has been created to help IT network infrastructure professionals stay up to date with the latest trends and technologies in the data centre and intelligent building markets.

Data is growing at explosive rates in today’s business landscape and has become the most valuable corporate asset, challenging networking professionals to stay current with new and emerging trends.

Data centres are experiencing an unstoppable demand for processing and storage while intelligent buildings are seeing more and more building services and applications converging onto a unified network. The correct design, specification and implementation of the network cabling has become more critical than ever to achieve the best business outcomes.

The series kicked off on 24 September with a TechTalk on High Speed Interconnects and the benefits of incorporating these point-to-point cabling assemblies into data centre architecture to enable high-speed, high volume data transmission at the data centre edge. Next in line is a TechTalk on the latest Wi-Fi 6/6E wireless standard which takes place at 13:00 CEST on 22 October. New Wi-Fi 6/6E technology provides four times faster average throughput compared to Wi-Fi 5 whilst supporting a far greater volume of mobile devices. Alberto Zucchinali, technical manager at Siemon will take a closer look at the wired infrastructure to reveal what’s required from the underlaying cabling foundations to take full advantage of Wi-Fi 6/6E’s enhanced capabilities.
