InfraXmedia acquires Data Center Nation

Author: Simon Rowley

InfraXmedia, a B2B media and events platform for the digital infrastructure industry – and the parent company of DatacenterDynamics (DCD) and Yotta events – has announced its acquisition of Data Center Nation (DCN).

Founded in 2021, DCN has quickly established itself as a key player in national data centre ecosystems across the EMEA region, with flagship events in Milan, Warsaw, Zurich, Dubai, and Riyadh. By focusing on the specific requirements of emerging data centre hubs, DCN has created value for stakeholders in geographies that present favourable conditions to develop sovereign cloud, IoT, and AI-ready data centres.

Davide Ortisi, CEO at Data Center Nation, who will continue to lead the business, comments, “Data Center Nation’s agile approach to data centre events perfectly complements InfraXmedia’s international network and other market-leading brands. The partnership will boost DCN’s portfolio of existing events, as well as support new launches to help buyers better connect with sellers in a time of pressure for the data centre supply chain globally.”

George Rockett, Managing Partner, InfraXmedia and founder of DatacenterDynamics, adds, “We are delighted to continue developing the InfraXmedia platform to better serve our customers and global audiences at a time of unprecedented investment into the data centre, networks and other parts of the digital infrastructure ecosystem. We look forward to working with Davide and the team to support future growth opportunities.”

DatacenterDynamics has been connecting digital infrastructure buyers and sellers for 25 years and reaches 15 million data centre professionals every year.

“This acquisition represents a significant step in furthering our vision to develop a more data-driven business model that connects the right people at the right time and that is more reflective of the trillion-dollar industry we serve,” says Jose Friebel, Chief Growth Officer at DCD and InfraXmedia. “As the data centre supply chain rapidly evolves to meet the demands of AI, this partnership further enhances our ability to connect buyers with sellers at even more locations across the globe.”

The combined event series attracts more than 25,000 attendees annually.
