CtrlS acquires land in Patna for greenfield edge data centre

CtrlS Datacenters has acquired a new land parcel in Patna, India for its upcoming data centre, through the Bihar Industrial Area Development Authority (BIADA) located in the Pataliputra Industrial Area. The site is strategically located just 300 metres from the company’s existing Patna DC1 facility.

CtrlS Datacenters plans to invest approximately Rs 400 Crore (£37.2m) in this new data centre, which will boast a 10MW IT load capacity and house approximately 1,000 racks. This land acquisition reaffirms CtrlS Datacenters’ commitment to strengthening its presence in Patna, a major digital hub in eastern India and the economic powerhouse of Bihar.
